Sports Photography Competition 2017 Finalists

The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy launched the ICSW Sports Photography Competition in association with Getty Images as part of the 4th International Conference of Sports for Women (ICSW).

2017 marked the second edition of the competition which aims to seek out the very best female Emirati amateur sports photographers in the UAE, with the opportunity to win the prize of a lifetime – an internship with the world’s leading photographic agency, Getty Images.

In our search for truly memorable sporting images captured by the people of UAE, which evoke the passion, thrills, unpredictability and raw emotion of sport of all kind, the following short-listed images were selected for display at a special exhibition at this year’s ICSW. The winners will be announced during the conference on the 6th and 7th of November.
